Passive sentences of simple present tense

Form of Active Sentences:

SUBJECT  + VERB 1 + OBJECT

Example:

1. I teach English everyday
2. The students study TOEFL seriously
3. My mother cooks fried chicken
4. The president rules a country well
5. She sings that songs beautifully

Form of Passive Sentences

SUBJECT + AM/IS/ARE/ PAST PARTICIPLE (Verb 3)

Example

1. English is taught by me everyday
2. TOEFL is studied by the students seriously
3. Fried chicken is cooked by my mother
4. A country is ruled by the President well
5. Those songs are sung by her beautifully

Note:
  • A Subject of Active sentence becomes an Object of Passive sentence
  • An object of active sentence becomes a Subject of passive sentence
